Holly Tree Farm Barns are situated in an idyllic spot just outside the village of Cratfield. It comprises 3 very tastefully converted, single storey farm buildings set around a central court yard. Cratfield is a small village in heart of rural mid Suffolk. The village pub is an easy walk away and we are always happy to recommend other local pubs and restaurants which serve excellent food. Groceries, and baby sitting can all be arranged on request.

The Heritage Coast and unspoiled delights of rural Suffolk are nearby. We are in easy reach of Southwold and Walberswick. Dunwich and Minsmere are also close by and ideal for bird watching and walking. Snape Maltings is renowned for its famous arts program. We have maps of local walks and can provide cycle routes to help you explore the quiet country lanes in the beautiful Saints Country. This part of Suffolk is also famous for its Flyers (World War 2 air fields and museums) and Friars (monasteries and abbeys).

There is a swimming pool 5 miles away, several local golf courses as well as fishing and riding facilities in the neighbouring villages.

The barns are approximately 50m from the main farm house. We have eleven acres of meadowland and natural ponds to explore. Pets are very welcome. Each cottage is extremely light and spacious and has been furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The floors are all solid oak apart from the hallways and kitchen areas which are tiled. Ample private parking is available close to the cottages.

This is a luxurious cottage with a beech kitchen and leather sofas. The bedroom is spacious and full of light with fantastic views. The bathroom contains a shower above the bath. There are French windows leading from the living room to a private patio, with a pretty garden and comfortable furniture to relax on.

There is also laundry room (washing machine, tumble drier) and lock up for bikes. We have a collection of books, DVDs and games for guests to borrow. There is a central freezer. Eggs from our own chickens are also availble.

A spacious open plan living area with french windows opens onto a private patio area in a natural sun spot, with wooden garden furniture and pretty garden. There are two large bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin). The bathroom is fully tiled and includes a wet room style shower. There is a dedicated car parking space for one car close to the Cart Lodge.

Patio doors lead from the main living area to the central courtyard, where there are tables and chairs. Guests staying in the Stables have the use of a private garden with stunning views, perfect for watching the sun set. There are two bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin) and a bathroom with a shower above the bath.
