Built from traditional Derbyshire stone, most have a private patio and barbecue area with stunning views across the hills and dales. All cottages have radio, colour TV, video, DVD player, CD player with Ipod doscking. The kitchens are very well-equipped with conventional as well as microwave ovens. Most have fridge freezers and dishwashers.
Wheeldon Trees Farm, six miles from the Spa town of Buxton, lies at the foot of the 1,384-ft High Wheeldon. O.S. Sheet 119.Grid ref. SK104 662. The farm has a courtyard at the front with ample parking. The accommodation offers a games room with pool, table football, books, walking guides & maps, videos and DVDs. It also has a fully-fitted kitchen and WC and can seat up to 28, making it ideal for large groups and celebrations.
A shared laundry is adjacent with a communal freezer with home-prepared meals ready for guests to pop in the oven!
Ideally situated for visits to Bakewell, Dovedale, Ashbourne, the Manifold Valley and Tissington Trail, Wheeldon Trees is a perfect base for walking parties & other groups. The property is a mile from The village of Earl Sterndale is the farm and within a 40-minute drive of Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, the Potteries and theme parks such as Alton Towers.
The cottages, which sleep from two to five people, can be booked together in any combination to take up to 28 people. Non smokers only in all properties. Pets are welcome, free of charge. Free cots and high-chairs are available (cot linen not supplied). All energy, linen and towels included. No extras.
