PICTURES ON LEFT 1 - 4 .... CHARLIE WILCOX Cottage, This beautiful cottage is set on 3 floors and is an up to 400 year old fisherman’s stone cottage, sitting on Polperro’s outer habour wall, with incredible sea views and the boats just below every window.
In winter, enjoy storms in front of a roaring log fire in one of the most romantic cottages in Cornwall. It has a large drawing room on the middle floor, low timber beams and a formal dinning area with views of the harbour.
From all your windows, you can watch the fishermen unloading their catches or preparing their boats for sea, just as they have done for 100s of years. At night, you can watch the Eddystone Lighthouse - this flashes some 14 miles off-shore.

PICTURES ON LEFT 6 - 10 .... BLANCHES MEADOW is the 300 year old wing of this gracious large house called Blanches. It faces South with beautiful sea views across the 3 acre garden.
It has the original cloam (bread) oven in the large fireplace at the East end of the drawing room. There are slate floors, exposed cob walls and a piano.
There are 3 bedrooms and at night, with your windows open, you can listen to the bell buoy tolling its lonely gong on the rocks below the house and watch the ships going up and down the Channel. We have a lot of wild life in the garden, badgers, foxes, rabbits, hedgehogs, squirrels and masses of birds.
BLANCHES is everyone’s dream – these classic isolated coastal residences, set in 3 acres of gardens and overlooking the sea. They are situated down a track between the single lane coast road and the sea under 2 miles West of Polperro.
WINDSOR AND MEADOW, taken together, sleep up to 16 people. They make a unique venue for that really special holiday, family party or other celebration.
Blanches was our home and it looks even better than when we lived in it.
Walk down through meadows of wild flowers to an almost private cove below the house. In the mornings, there is nature’s chorus of wild bird songs.

Willy Wilcox (Sleeps 8) view availability | book it
PHOTOGRAPHS on left 17 - 19 .... Willy Wilcox Cottage – after whom the cottage was named, was trapped by the sea while bringing contraband into the cave beneath the house.
During winter storms, heavy wooden shutters protect the windows, as the waves break on the rocks below.
Inside, this cottage is full of charm, eccentric, snug and full of ‘slippered ease’. You can sit in front of a roaring open log fire and know you are safe behind thick stones walls, which have been the home of fisher folk for hundreds of years.
The Beach Room, on the South end of the cottage, is closer to the sea than you would be in many lighthouses. A side door leads from this wonderful bedroom, up to the side terrace, overlooking the sea. Tiptoe out in the moonlight and share a bottle of wine or a nightcap.

Foxes Lodge (Sleeps 8) view availability | book it
PICTURES on left 12 - 15 .... Foxes Lodge Cottage is lovely for 2 people, but there is space – you could invite friends and family to share this hide-away with you. It is 3 miles West of Polperro and is that idyllic ‘isolated garden cottage’ with wonderful sunny South facing aspect, no neighbours, total privacy and the sea just over the hill.
There are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a dinning room with wood burner and another wood burner in the drawing room. You can worship the sun, relax and read a book. The very tame cows lean over the fence waiting for their noses to be scratched.
This cottage is over 300 year old, the staircase is lit by a full height Cathedral type window. The stair joists and roof timbers appear to have been salvaged from an old church. The decorative balustrade, at the top of the stairs, is formed from the delicately turned spindles of an Lancashire cotton mill.
On that balmy evening, with the windows open, you will hear owls hooting, foxes and badgers calling across Lanlawren, the Valley of the Foxes.

PICTURES ON LEFT 20 onwards .... Blanches Windsor is a grand and gracious property, with its panoramic sea views. You entered through a solid Gothic door, giving access to a wide hall.
There are Delabole slate floors, vast exposed timber beams and spacious rooms.
There is a great wood burner in the drawing room and another in the galleried hallway.
Windsor is large enough, with 5 bedrooms, for a group of friends, several families and we seem to have rather a lot hen parties and even the odd stag party.
The NT footpath leads down the valley below the house to the NT coastal footpath with its beautiful, wild flower edged cliffs - the shoreline is completely unspoiled, with lots of delightful hidden coves which are all dog friendly.
